Trump's Obsession With Erasing Black Achievement and History in the USA.

The Trump Administration and Trump himself both have a long history of condescending and prejudicial treatment of Blacks in American society as a group. A careful study of why Trump was sued and investigated as a real estate dealer in the State of New York, as well as his first and second US Administration's attempts at negating Barack Obama's run for the Presidency are in plain view for social studies scientists and cultural history researchers. And Trump-led erasures of entire texts, memorials, museum installations, art formats, and Black Lives Matter D.C. representative artwork are part of these overtly racist actions. The firings of a majority of Black and female and transgender US military personnel, including previous chiefs of staff, Generals, Admirals and female soldiers serving in Greenland, the ending of TPS (Temporary Protected Services) for Haitians and obvious targeting of specific racial types, genders and unspoken, as well as unannounced covert bigotry and exclusions of Blacks in America in the highest levels of government representation has not gone unnoticed in the general public, and altogether sets a very dangerous national precedent for generations of Black Americans-and all Americans-today and tomorrow.

MIDDLE EAST ANALYSIS.

Iranian Armageddon? Current Middle East Conflict in Perspective.

A TLO Analysis.

The Iranians. As they attempt to control safe shipping passage in the Straight of Hormuz, cargo vessels explode hitting Iranian mines, and traversing ships are fired upon by Iran to prevent them from hitting Iranian mines. Meanwhile the United States is bombing military sites throughout Iran and blockading their maritime vessels. Iran has continued bombing Gulf region countries housing US Military personnel and has stated publicly that Iran is at full scale war with the United States. Sites Iranian missiles have hit are located in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Bahrain, Kuwait and Israel. The US has lost 17 service members to date in ongoing bombings by Iran. Iranian civilian casualties and deaths number over 3500 since the US -Israel first strikes against Iran.

The Israelis. After the first US-Israeli strikes, Iran hit Israel with cluster munitions which penetrated into Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, killing scores of residents and resulting in retaliation strikes between the two countries soon after Israel hit Iranian targets with US aid. A ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon produced very little in terms of stopping Iran from bombing Gulf region US targets and Israel is hoping that the ongoing ceasefire with both Hamas and Hezbollah can provide time for national recoveries and re-establishing stronger and more secure borders involving Israel, Gaza and Lebanon. Israel has signed and paid into the Trump -led Gaza Board of Peace, and Moroccan soldiers are being trained along with forces from Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Albania Egypt and Jordan for services in the International Stabilization Force intended to help re-establish law and order and Palestinians' residential housing protections in Gaza as redevelopment takes place. Unfortunately, Palestine has no seat on the board as of yet, but the Board's members are composed partly of international Palestinians and economic partners of Palestinians once operating in Gaza.

The Houthis. Attached to the Yemenese government for years after committing terrorist actions in times past, the latest Houthi endeavor was to practice killing Israelis for their mistreatment of Palestinians and the destruction of Gaza. After the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel and the end of the Gaza War, the Houthis' new aim appears to be control of the Red Sea. With a maritime blockade of Saudi Arabia, the nation with the largest Red Sea coastline situated on the Eastern side of the sea, the Houthis might believe they can do what Iran and the US are trying to do in the Persian Gulf.....and that is to either oversee or even profit from Red Sea shipping involving sea trade routes from Israel to anywhere in the world. Opposite Saudi Arabia are Egypt, Eritrea, Sudan and Ethiopia, with Somalia in the Arabian Sea and Yemen across and to the East located right underneath Saudi Arabia. If the Houthis blockade Saudi ships, they could hold much of Western North Africa and Israel "hostage" economically as well. At the present time it is unknown if the Houthis are conducting their actions in collusion with Iran. Whether they are or not, this current situation will most likely lead to heavily armed conflict if not interfered with soon by world powers and more than likely, surprise and lethal ground invasion and missile attacks against Israel from Yemen.

It should be noted here that neither Iran or Yemen signed the Abraham Accords. Iranians don't claim descent from Abraham, and neither do Yemenese. Houthis do, however, claim biological descent from Abraham but are today perceived as also being Yemenese, so there is a religious connundrum involved with all of the above warfare that could make religious life difficult for Islamists in the region, in coming years. Understanding this Houthi "peace deficiency" could later result in delayed peace negotiations sooner, rather than later, when it comes to this latest series of Middle East conflicts affecting the whole world's various and sundry shipping and supply operations.

In late July, US forces are continuing airstrikes against Iranian missile and ammunition sites as Iran continues attacks against US military throughout the Gulf Region. In the midst of the Houthis' attacks against Saudi Arabia which took place after the Trump -Iran Memorandum of Understanding Agreement (MOU) fell apart, Iran started to engage in all out warfare against the US. Trump still believed that Iran was interested in peace until Iran used missiles and drones against Bahrain and Kuwait, where US forces are stationed. Both countries responded by flying a few of their fighter jets armed with missiles into Iranian target sites, concentrating on damaging Iranian military bases and subsequent missile responses.

The Saudi Arabians. Saudi Arabian forces then joined the escalating melee by firing missiles in self-defense at Houthis forces in Yemen. Ongoing back and forth attacks all throughout the Gulf nations are creating strategic chaos, and news from the areas of concern are limited. But the fighting patterns seem to suggest that aside from Iran and the Houthis, the remaining Gulf nations want free passage through the Straight of Hormuz and the Red Sea and are willing to fight for that. The majority of regional armed forces vastly outnumber the combined efforts of Iran or Yemen. Using armed might to control both waterways by the Iranians and Houthis could result in pinpoint targeting of Iranian and Houthis forces that are blocking seagoing vessels, and would be a depressing possibility for all Gulf nations to consider. And yet a cruel fate awaits the world if oil and food and cargo supplies are interfered with in both affected waterway regions. Add the US to this potential Gulf Region fracas and both Iran and Yemen could encounter extreme damage to their countries that could take decades to recover from!

Making that point clear to Iran and Yemen will take delicate negotiations in any event. Is the world ready for a Gulf Summit ceasefire that includes Iran and Yemen? TLO staff prays and hopes so!
